Last year, right at EIRE 2009, Agenzia del Territorio presented the “Real Estate Evaluations Operational Handbook” Part 1 through a panel discussion between experts and academicians.
The initiative aroused a great interest. We promised to organize a new event for a mutual exchange after having completed the second part of the Handbook.
Meeting this undertaking, in a period of great emphasis on the theme of real estate valuation, the Agency is now presenting the first Complete Edition of the Real Estate Evaluations Operational Handbook and promotes a meeting for an exchange of different points of view among real estate evaluations experts.

The advent of public-property federalism prefigures new scenarios for the valorization of public real estate. Town councils are looking forward to the conveyance of this State property, which represents an extraordinary opportunity for the development of a new property-management culture.
The ever increasing hypothesis that property to be transferred might by law, merge into real estate investment funds controlled by local authorities, which by law would have a 50% stake, also guarantee an almost immediate flow of liquidity.
These encouraging financial evaluations are also accompanied by positive effects derived from the “restitution” of property to the territory to which it belongs, thus leading to greater transparency of the administrative procedures and a wider participation on the part of citizens to the process of reclamation, and choice during the reconversion of public property that had been neglected or underutilized.
